Tombstone Rapid, Upper Yough - Gumpy and Full Gnarlz
I'm expecting to be down with Golder on the 6th, then whenever else I can. It would be great if everyone posted their upper yough plans on here this year. I think its a great river that a lot of people shy away from, but don't need to if they have the class IV skills and experience.
I made this map of the put-in, take-out and the camping spot near the put-in area. The camping spot is great.

Joe,
Wish I could make it in June. The upper Y is definitely a river I want to paddle. I am hoping to get down there in July or August.

ya I'm interested, but I've never run it. The photo array makes it look like something where you might want some direction. They are great photos that really show the drops. I have put some time in with my Fink this spring so I figure I'm up for it.

Nice! It's been too long since we've boated together Craig. BTW, I'll be up on the Dryway July 16 & 17, and again Labor Day weekend. Maybe see you there?
