Looking for input on the Esquif Vertige X

Post by Nightswimmer »

I'm just looking for input on the Vertige X (tandem outfitted) to be used a designed - tandem paddled, with a 200 lb male in stern and 120 female in bow. We are experienced paddlers, that periodically paddle class 2+ approaching class 3.

Thanks

I think it will be a good boat for that weight class. If possible, though, you should try to demo that and a Blast. The Blast has been discussed a lot recently for that weight range. Both of them are traditionally set up with paddlers close together, so the weight ought to be less noticeable than boats with the paddlers near the bow and stern.

Hope this helps,
