Running Husum Falls in a Dagger Atom

Buster Blue nails Husum Falls in an Atom in this video: See 4:12 on http://youtu.be/QG76Km1vOB0. Even though this is another post of running the White Salmon, there's some good clips here, beginning with a run of Maytag, plus some clips of a tandem team in a Caption and a canoe going deep in Husum. We had more canoes than kayaks this time, plus I put in the names of some of the major rapids on this classic run.

Enjoyed your White Salmon videos. I ran it way back in '92, probably at a bit lower water level, in my rotten old Phoenix c-1. I did fine except for Husum, where I penciled deep, and ended upside down against the right side wall. I had to push off the wall to get room to roll.

I took stills of all the rapids, but from your videos I can see that I didn't remember how difficult the run actually is. And I don't remember that final rapid and surf wave at all.
