Ontario spring melt?

Post by CurlyFries »

To those of you in southern Ontario... Seeing as it's only snowed a handful of times, are we going to get spring levels at all? What are your thoughts?

Kinda worried that runs like 16 mile wont happen unless it rains a bunch.

Dave,
To assail your fears; we've had such little snow (and ice) over the past few years, those runs usually open up due to rain.
There is a little bit of snow further north, but I am concerned about the Hwy #7 runs coming in.
Mackfest may be cancelled yet again.

The snowpack is crappy all over. It could be a long, dry summer. Thank god for dam releases.

I wonder how high the water will be for He|| or High Water

Don't be so negative Dave. Given the amount of snow we get down here, a rainy spring is more important that a snowy winter. There ll be something to paddle.
