The signal to noise ratio has improved dramaticaly.

When Louie talks boats and paddling, he's as good as anybody here.
When he talks trash... hey if I wanted a soap opera I'd read CNN.

I wouldn't say I didn't notice either. But still had to choose that one up for lack of a better choice.

Yeap, indeed felt a lot like election day.

Serious lack of good, entertaining material without him.
I'm going through "bustin on louie" withdraw. He's such a great target.
I think we should have a bustin on louie thread when / if he comes back.
Louie's name is in more thread titles than anyone else by far. You're lookin at one now. Like him or not, he adds alot to the site.
You know what they say about guys with long boats.............. I have a 16 footer!

I've stayed out of this thread on purpose - but feel it's time to chime in.

This site is about information and content on whitewater canoeing, not chat.

If y'all want to bust on Louie (or anyone else), please do it elsewhere. Part for your sake, part for Louie's (he'll be on "probation" assuming he chooses to rejoin us), part for the moderators sanity!

Information and content cross over to "chat" when? When it is not about canoeing or when it is not about a canoe or when it is not about somone who paddles a canoe?

These yankee rules are hard to follow...

Think the poll is missing another option ... but being a "tween'er" (as not quite a Northerner or a Southern) I'll abide by the rules.

Got me some rain this week! Who's com'n out to get some? 8)
