Decked Canoes, Open Canoes, as long as they're canoes!

Favor to ask: Need to borrow some flat water boats (DC)

Post by kenneth »

Your webmaster and photographer here asking for a small favor from anyone in/near the Washington, DC area. My company is having a picnic at the end of this month at an executive's house where there is a small pond. I was wondering if anyone nearby might have a flat water boat (traditional canoe, recreational kayak, etc) that I could borrow. I'm tasked with finding three boats total, and I'll need a few PFD's and paddles too. Anyone able to help out?

Thanks!

I've had a few PM's about this, but I'm still looking for some boats. Someone's gotta have an old metal Grumman canoe or plastic Old Town canoe lying around - take a closer look at your garden beds, you never know where you might have put one. :)

If you were closer to Columbia, you could have 8 plus some rec kayaks...
