a bit off topic winter project
i just picked this nice old 1969 ted williams tent camper made by sears for $50. it should make a right nice chuck wagon for weekends by the rivers. anybody else have a small trailer for whitewater weekends? a bit of aluminum diamond plate, black paint, new tarp and of course hazard strips.
if its a flowin' i'm a goin' if its frozen i'm a dozin'

I'd have to say "you hit one out of the park", on that buy .-M-
wheels
Nice idea.
Lube up the wheel bearings though, if the tow'er is going 70, then the smaller wheels on the trailer are going 100, revs that is, aprox., more or less.

Paddling is easy, organizing shuttles is hard.
Not misplacing all your crap in somebody else's car seems to be even harder

A great winter project for non paddling days.
Best wishes with it. I hope it turns out successful.

Looks great.
For my tractor, I recently rebuild the forks attachment to add a hitch receiver.
Now I can slide in a ball mount drawbar for moving a trailer around. Super handy.
Happy trailer moving...

snow ice and injury kept me in this weekend. so i put a few hours in to the tent camper. i had a couple of old tv trolley bases i reconfigured to roll out the stove that is bolted in place. i lined it with thin plastic veneer.

rebuilt the hubs and put on new tires rated for 6000lbs. added a jack on the tongue. cleaned the lights and rewired the entire system. hazard stripe is manditory in zombie land.
