I think we should mention that there is a killer tree right below the second drop below Pigs in Space. I do mean a "killer" tree. BTW the Citico in Aug. is unheard of. I am sure there are hundreds of class IV rivers runnin up north in August.

Louie,

Only 4 that I can think of Cheat, Great Falls, Upper Yough, and Ohiopyle Falls. There were some other class 4 and 5 creeks that flashed up this weekend. We did have flash floods today but that was east of DC. :)

I caught Rock Creek in Washington DC yesterday at a nice beefy level. Very nice Class III paddling!

No Upper Yough is class V+ but class VI most of the time or that what I was told on here anyway, didn't you know that ?

Rock Creek is a cute option once a great while, and yes loiue I heard someone say that. UY is IV+ at best unless you are above 2.5 then solid V. Loiue with the frequency you mentioned as Citigo in summer, we get an awefull lot of class IV around here.
