Esquif Zephyr Wanted - Paradigm Camping

Any Boat, Gear, or outdoor related item you have for sale. If you use it on a paddling trip, or to prepare for one, it's fair game.

Esquif Zephyr Wanted - Paradigm Camping

Post by Dsmith »

Does anyone have for sale or know of anyone having for sale an Esquif Zephyr?

Anyone have an opinion as to wether the Esquif Paradigm at 10'-8" have enough room for over night camping? I know it's a matter of how much stuff you bring but think essentials.

The Paradigm should work for camping.

I have seen an Ocoee used for several nights and it is only six inches longer.

I have an Esquif Zephyr for sale. It has a two really small cracks high up on either side near the center. They are inconsequential and not worth the effort to repair. Otherwise the boat is in excellent shape. Great bottom and not used much or hard. Fully factory outfitted including airbags. Located in Harrisburg, PA area. Asking $800.00. That is half of retail.

By the way, if you're looking for a OC1 that is easy to paddle and can take a heavy load you might want to take a look at the Esquif Raven. It's build with super strong and thick Royalex, and has a nice speed even when loaded. That is the boat I use when I do camping trips. I have added some clips to the rope holding the airbags so that I can store my waterproof bags under them. Anyway, if you look at the video of my last trip down the Gens de Terre in Quebec you can see how the boat handles even with an extra 40 pounds of stuff stashed away under the airbags. That trip was 6 days.
