A decade or more ago, I remember reading and seeing a picture of a black and red inflatable canoe with lots of rocker being manufactured in Europe. Does anyone remember?

This idea of going back to basics and learning to paddle around rocks is going to work for the vast majority of boaters who paddle up to about grade 4 on bigger volume rivers. For the minority that are pushing the envelope to catch up with the extreme kayakers running steeper and lower volume stuff...

Just an update. I now have a new inventory of five boats (one Blackfly on order), seven new helmets, six PFD's, various and sundry wet type clothing pieces, another paddle, gloves and shoes for family. :D I got a wonderful , well kept Esquif canoe from a member here.
