Re: What is the most narrow Kayak hull

I paddled a converted corsica s down the upper yough 5 or 6 times, great fun. Easy to keep up right really, and rolled really easy. Its 24inches wide and pretty darn fast for plastic. I think my saddle was in the 5-6 inches range.

Re: Everest (or Burn) Cockpit Trimming Question

The Karnali that i bought from Bernie, has the rim trimmed right by the hip all the way to the thigh brace bolt holes. The rim still feels as bomber there as where the rim is intact.

Re: Quikrelease/ snapshackle?

I used these in my Delta works... http://www.westmarine.com/buy/products/2534-fixed-bail-snap-shackles.html#.T9VkyHqLdEM" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; A little on the pricey side but they have worked flawlessly for 3 years. I use a standard ladder lock for the adjustment aspect of t...

Re: Big Stable Boats

I have a 7 inch saddle in my Karnali and its a great boat to run down the Green. Super stable, fast, dry and friendly if you havnt been in the water for a little bit. When i bought it from Bernie at Whitewater Warehouse it had an 8.5 inch saddle or so in it. My first day paddling it i was on the Upp...

Twister or Edge?

Are either of these still around? Does anyone have one laying around that they would be willing to sell?

They look like great boats, any thoughts? I really like slalom style boats and am looking for something to replace a 1978 DeltaWorks OC1.

Re: What next?

Are fiberglass molds for PE boats cost effective? How many boats can you pop out before you have to make a new mold? Average Cost? Wouldnt it be possible to make more boats like Blackfly(Jeremy) does instead of dealing with all of the crazy high cost of mold tooling? I helped pull a mold off an Phen...

Re: straps vs bulkhead

Ive been wondering if you could affix a Jackson Happy Feet to the bulkhead(between the foam and your thigh). This is then inflated and squished around till it fits what ever you happen to be wearing that day.
