I can store it inside, but when I take it out to paddle in the cold it won't crack? And if I head out to the mountains for a few days, where it can't be kept inside overnight, what then?

Wood Gunnels in Winter

I've got a wood gunneled Outrage, I know the hardware should be loosened to prevent cracks, but I'd like to paddle it this winter. I can store it inside or outside. What do I do? Thanks.

Probe 11 is a great beginner boat, but you may outgrow it relatively quickly. Outrage will put you in the drink alot at first (if you push it), but will soon make you a better paddler. I'd put my mother in a probe, not an outrage. If you like to push your limits, the outrage will allow for more grow...

WTB used saddle, thigh straps

Looking to outfit an old Bluehole Sunburst on the cheap. Anyone looking to unload an old saddle, straps, or knee cups? Near Philly. Thanks everyone.

she's 120 lbs, about 5'6". she loves it. says it makes maneuvering almost too easy. i've only paddled it once, i'm 170, it still felt like a hot rod to me.

She's already a little quicker than me and my outrage. Once she gets a good paddle I'm in real trouble...

Spark on class IV+?

please excuse my ignorance, I'm new to whitewater. Took a training course with my girlfriend this year, & my she bought a Spark. She was told that it was too light for class 4, unable to punch holes. we haven't progressed that far yet, but hope to. Any insight would be appreciated.
