Why don't they make more C1s?

... less start up cost involved. How come we aren't seeing any new ones that aren't slalom boats? There a few older cruising designs - the Hornet, the Magnet, and ummm, somebody help me out here ! Me? I just bought a nearly brand new, second hand Hornet and love it. I was nervous about bashing rocks ...
