Re: C1 to OC1 or not
Hummmm..... yep you are one taller fellow. That will be an issue. The key is to get the weight off the knees IMHO so the saddle build is the answer. Jim
I sat in some of your boats... you might think of raising the height of the saddle. That made my life much more comfortable.

I believe that the Worlds (Jimmy) already has the "Friends of the Cheat" site reserved in Albright, WV for the weekend. Although that means sleeping with Zombies about.

Re: Paddle Tape ?
I've used (use) electrical / plumbing silicon flexible tape on a paddle shaft. The down side is that the shaft gets thicker and that changes the ergo feel, and it needs replace now and again. Re: Most notable C1 conversion?
Ahhhaaaa there are so many! X, Z, Y Foreplay, XXX, Nomad, Redline, Burn... and the list goes on. I personally like the Zwo. It all depends on the boater and what is being paddled!
Only wish there were more C1 specific designs but we make do!

Re: Elbow Pads
LOL Noted Pierre LaPaddelle. As an FYI I buy from German, Austrian and occasionally the dreaded Canadian (heard they might build a wall)!! The smile at the end was semi sarcastic with all the nationalism going on. I guess I was just in the place and didn't go back to proof out to better explain! So ...
