I have a XXX C-1
I have a XXX C-1 as well as a Forplay C-1 and an X C-1. The XXX was good for park and play or class II-III for me at 175, when I got up to 185-190 I had to stop paddling it for a while. I would consider an ideal weight range for river running ...

converted ForPlay cheap
just FYI-
I have an already converted spooned-out ForPlay that I'm looking to get rid of CHEAP. At 200lbs+ it's only good for park 'n play- and I don't park and play. Hades, I don't hardly play, period.![](./images/smilies/icon_redface.gif)

I have an Atom
... it. It's heavy, slow, and does not side surf, add to that the impromptu stern squirts at an inopportune time. I'd suggest looking for a Wavesport Forplay, X, or z; whichever size suits you. Boats are not that hard to convert, I'm sure you can find lots of help here. I know I've not answered your ...

... was hurting my old, feeble shoulders. I ordered a new 54" & feel much better now. I use 54" Galasport & Mitchells in my Acrobat, Viper, Big EZ, & Forplay C-1's. I also used the 54" in my Sequel OC. My saddles are 8 to 9.5" high. For flatwater I use a 52" Zaveral bent shaft in my Wenonah Marthon. ...

... back of the cockpit rim to your back. This is the critical measurement. It is where you will want the back-rest to be. Here are some photos of my Forplay. It's a real simple set-up w/ no holes added to the boat. http://new.photos.yahoo.com/wh20crazy/album/576460762349975259 You'll find many oppinions ...

Wouldn't that kill the wing effect? I'm thinking of how my Forplay, (w/ equal volume distribution on hull & deck) doesn't squirt smoothly. On the other hand, by Big EZ, Viper & Acrobat (all w/ more hull volume than deck volume) squirt very smoothly.RodeoClown wrote:The stern would be symmetric top to bottom

Hmm
... folks than I will hopefully chime in on conversions, but you may want to check out the following: -Score -Big EZ and Super EZ, as you mentioned -ForPlay (if you're up for a "lower volume" boat for your weight). Searching on any of those boats should turn up a lot of info and opinions on them.

I've set the hook,
... paddling days for 06 she noted that at least a dozen of them had been in a C boat, all kinds of C boats. Prelude and Taureau open boats, EZ and Forplay C1s. The best part was when she said " Wouldn't it be cool to finish the year in a C Boat" I'm gonna keep reelin
