Gudday Savagekevin,

I'm still here at thte moment, but I may be doing a lot of travelling for work over summer, so that part of the year is not yet clear. I can hook you up with folks though, whether I'm here or not.

Where are you going to be based in Switzerland?
Cheers,
Matt

HIya Jim, I have an Esquif Zoom and paddle a lot of rocky creeks and rivers. I also noticed lots of wear early on when I ahd it and assumed I'd wear it out really quickly. I've had it 3seasons or so now and it's still going strong. I think it's more visible scratches than real damage. I would recomm...

Both sides of the hull....

I think there are places for pumps, but the real reason is that they make it easier...easier to surf more, easier to run without dumping.... Having said that I voted good idea. I debated a long time before putting a pump in my Zoom and now I don't think it's fast enough. For me the true elegance is ...

Gudday, I'm located near Bern and happy to help folks out in starting in C1 or OC1. I have extra equipment to loan if needed and there's some good local rivers to start out on. Just drop me a line through the forum and we can get together. Cheers, Matt Hoi 'zame, Ich wohne in der nähe von Bern und w...

Hmmm...Norway or Switzerland.....

Hiya Guys, Sorry that I haven't been on the board much - I'm working way too much this year. I've started to draft an announcement about the 2008 Armada. I just haven't sent it out or posted it as I want to translate it into French and German and ahven't had time yet. The English is below. I'll set ...

Hmmm....

...32 I think....not as much time on the water this year, so the neurons aren't firing properly. I started paddling on and off in kayaks as a teenager, but didn't really get into it until I was 23 and at gradschool in the US. I paddled a kayak for a couple of years, then started to look at open boat...

C1 in WNY

I have a friend in Oneonta who might be able to help, if that's not too far away. Otherwise, I used to paddle with a guy in Binghamton who paddled OC1 and a little C1 - he's been a visitor to this board occassionally - Stevebusch: http://cboats.net/cforum/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=193 Also do a...

Depature & Air

Yeah, those are also the shots on th video....I want to see some hull details though... I've paddled the air....I nearly bought one (it was only 300bucks!). I took it down some class III stuff. Lots of fun. Absolutely zero primary stability and not much more secondary....kinda like a log :) I'm 150l...
