First thing I noticed was in photo #1 he's paddling left and in photo #2 he's paddling right. Does someone care to explain to me again why they think switching is wrong or ineffective? Maybe he didn't know he was doin it wrong. :o BTW: Thanks for the photos, really cool. Would love to see some video...

I own a esquif prospector and would highly recomend it for you. I've owned other 16'ers and carried alot more. In comparisson the esquif is substantially lighter weight than other plastic 16'ers. I can't speak for the durability yet, even tho I've owned the boat for a few years, I only use it a coup...

I've had a couple of outrages and I outfit so my knees are ahead of center and my butt is behind center. This way you can weight the front or rear as you paddle. The outrage has some really nice fast lines behind center (weight on butt) but responds much better to crossing eddy lines and catching ed...

Anyone who says or thinks kayaking is easy hasn't spent much time in one. I've boated just about every type of craft and the kayak is no easier than anything else. The very best boaters I know are kayakers and I'm thankful I can boat with them. I paddle a canoe because I just prefer the canoe but th...

The boat belongs to my uncle. He's an open boater who doesn't really even boat anymore. Back in the day he thought a C1 would work for him. This is after years open boating. He didn't get into the C1. He used it only once or twice, I believe on the middle yough, and got back in his whitsell (which i...

Perception Gyra Max
Anyone have any interest in a gyra max used once on class 3? Factory outfitting, practically a brand new boat. Kept in a clean warm basement, hanging since it was brand new.
