Updated outfitting plan for Seewum
After digesting all your comments (here and on p-net) and discovering old accessories in my garage here's the plan I've come up with for outfitting my Seewum. I've shaved down the seat and knee cups so that they probably will work as is. Little did I know that the 1-1/2" D-rings with the hard plasic...

Royalex Repair Kit on Fiberglass
I need to install thigh strap anchors for my recently acquired Phoenix Seewum C-1. This is an older fiberglass boat. A couple years back I purchased a "Voyageur" Royalex Repair Kit, but I've never used it. I was wondering if I could use the materials in this kit to fashion my anchors. The kit includ...

More outfitting questions
Thanks ezwater for the good advice. I took the Seewum out on flat water for its maiden voyage. I really enjoyed paddling it, especially appreciating it's speed. Unfortunately, I could not roll the thing. Having rolled kayaks for years this was a bit of a blow to my ego. I won't be hitting the river ...

Phoenix Seewum outfitting and paddle questions
Well, I just bought the Phoenix Seewum (not Seda Phoenix) discussed in my previous post. The seller thought Seda was the manufacturer because he had a Seda sprayskirt. The boat is in good shape, but the outfitting is pretty sparse. I sure would like any advice someone might have regarding improving ...

Seda Phoenix
Is anyone familiar with the subject boat? I'd like to know if it would meet my needs (See my "C-1 Advice" post below"). Your comments would be appreciated.

C-1 conversion advice
I'm an ex-kayaker who's now been open canoeing on mostly flatwater for about 7 years. About 10 years ago, I was running class IV pretty regularly. I'm now pushing 50, but am very interested in getting into a C-1. I want something just to run the river (class II-III) as I have no desire to be shreddi...

Boat lift from Brighton, CO to San Andreas, CA
I'm looking to purchase a C-1 Atom located near Denver. I'm 90 minutes SE of Sacramento. I'd be glad to pay up to $100 if someone could handle the transportation. You can e-mail me at mchuey_2000@yahoo.com

WTB a C-1; live in Northern CA
I'd like to get into a used C-1, unfortunately they seem to all be back east. If you have a used C-1 that would be good for a beginner, is good for general river running, and can somehow be delivered or picked-up in Northern California please let me know. Up till about 10 years ago I kayaked Class !...
