Avl, how much do you weight? that should help determine if the boat will be dry or wet!! Also your style of paddling or the type of rivers, might dictate the dryness of the boat. YTcanoe, is around 190lbs and he never said anything about the boat being wet, at least not weter than his Prelude...

Customer service is great, but it doesn't adress the problems with the plastic, and doesn't tell us why they are breaking up... I used to work in an outdoors store and we use to sale some brands of gear that would not hold up well, and the "brand" would replace the products with the same thing over ...

For WW playing/running, I realy like our Nexxus, so far it is the best boat I've tryed.... I paddled the Blast, but it was to wet for our weight. I realy liked the Clipper Merganzer, but I wanted something shorter. And I also tryed the Vertige X, but I found it to "soft/fleemsy" and to big. I never ...

I would have to agree with a onsude fwrd stroke, and being abble to do it on both side, left and right!! If you master your strokes and you hit your line, no need to roll... but a bomb proof roll would be nice!

Did any body uses a paddle float like the one use for self rescue in sea kayaks? I used one a few time and it did work great for me, by helping with keeping the paddle at the surface and realy feeling the paddleto the right position... I agree with the foam pad, probably better than the side of the ...

Don't buy a vertige X... buy a Blast! North water saddle system is good and work good! The best way to tell where to put the saddles, is to have the boat in the water with the 2 of you in and some one else look at the trim of the boat. if you put the saddle close together , the way I like mine, the ...
