Thanks for the offer on trying your Taureau. I'd like to test the boat on something more local and a river I know, like the Gorge or the Gull, for comparison. Trouble is, there's no water in either one.
Maybe we could hook up sometime in November, if it rains.

Take a look at Bob Foote's web site. He has an excellent article on rolling an OC-1. Just follow the steps - exactly - and the boat will come up no problem. You got the pump right; Atwood 1250 GPH. Where did you find the waterproof toggle switch? I had to make one with an unsealed switch and rubber boot - mounted it into a 2" PVC pipe with end caps, as opposed to a dry box. I just built one for this year. Cost +/- $100 (CDN). Got most parts from Canadian Tire. Empties my Nitro in about 20-30 seconds. Would never be without one now.

I was looking at the CT option last weekend.
They now only carry an 1100 GPH pump, may go to a marine store.
Regarding the battery; don't the lead acid batteries weigh a fair bit ? I was trying to source a lithium ion battery.
