I was wondering about the weight ranges for the Pop. I havn't gotten to paddle one, and probably won't for a while, but was unable to fit in the Skip as a kayak. There seems to be a huge difference between the two. I'm about 150 lbs, so the Pop seems kind of big. Anyways, thought I'd ask.

WTB: EZ, Session, or maybe Pop?
Looking for a shorter boat to replace the ol' XXX. Planning on keeping XXX unless someone wants to trade for some reason, but would like to find an EZ, Session, Ego, Pop, etc for a descent price. Not a huge problem if it isn't converted already. Thanks,

Balance balance balance
It's all about keeping your face right on the surface of the water and being a little off vertical. It just takes practice, but once you find your balance point you'll be hitting 5 minutes instead of 5 seconds. Where in VT do you live? I go to bording school in NH and paddle all spring. If you ever ...

I don't know/think about the dynamics of rolling to much, however I have hit quite a few handrolls in my XXX. I find that handrolls are way easier in a C-1 than a K-1. Might depend on your boat, outfitting, etc.

So...Whats the deal with the Liquid Logic Pedestal?
Are they going to produce it or did they decide it was a lost cause (sniff, sniff).

Not that this means anything...
but on the Bliss Stick site theres a video clip of a guy getting a loop in the Flip Stick C-1. Also, I saw a guy (Bernie? who is at Whitewater Warehouse in dayton oh?) on the New in a S:6 and he said he really liked it. I saw him at Halls of Karma and he left so I didnt' really get to see him paddle...

go with the lapbelt if....
you are super confident with your roll. I have paddled boats w/ lapbelts and thighstraps, and a Lapbelt is definatly more secure in my opinion. I am in the process of installing one in my squirt, and am trying to figure out how to do one in my XXX. I'm not sure about the type of closure, but since I...

New playboats
So, I'm looking to possibly replace my XXX in the not to distant future, and was wondering if anyone had paddled any of the "newer" playboats? What are people's oppinions on the session, tekno, skip/pop, and id? I love the XXX but I paddle mostly smaller rivers with small features, so the XXX is jus...
