I believe the new Esquif Salsa can be fitted with a skirt. (A great way to practice moves before competition.) Does it then become a C1 or just a really, really dry (O)C1.

Sorry to be so thick, and I do appreciate the value of a snug fit in a K1 or C1, but are you really suggesting that I put about 5.5 inches of foam on either side of my hips in my Phantom? (I've got Mike Yee outfitting.) Interesting.

Temp Outfitting
Buy one of those yellow or blue foam sleeping pads (the kind of foam that doesn't hold water) and use double sided sticky tape (carpet tape?) to hold the stuff in. You may have to re-stick it every few sessions, but better than nothing. You want minimal movement between you and the boat.
