Mad River Cyclone

I found a Mad river cyclone for sale set up as a solo. Looks and sounds like a fun fast boat. Anyone have experience with one? Worth getting one for some fast fun?

Re: Tandem boating, but drier. . .

I have wanted to converted a Jackson Dynamic Duo and looked at it a few times. I think it would work just fine. you can get saddles from Jackson also, not sure i would go that way though. There was a Hydra plastic c-2 in West USA for sale a while back, almost pulled the pin on it. Ibet they still ha...

Re: FS: Dagger Aftershock - great shape!

I have an Aftershock, fun boat for what it was made for - playing in holes, sure its wet but so are all the boats made for hole play. Not a great river runner. Quake is much better all arounder. Rick I would be very interested in that Quake on the West Coast if it comes for sale and you are not goin...

Re: C1 Roll

Low brace roll is much safer for the shoulders, which is one advantage of c-1 imo. It may take some retraining time for you but in long term well worth it.

Nam
Where are you on the West Coast. I am in Whitehorse. My son and I both c-1 playboat as well as open boat. Good to connect with others that enjoy c-1. My son tried out a Sith on the Ottawa and had a good time.

Re: Drysuit zipper replacement

Do you have a link for the zippers? I always thought it would not be worth the effort to change out a zipper

Re: Anyone heard of these Drysuits?

I am intrigued by these suits. I have a fleet of over 50 suits from various manufactures. Lets look at these suits for what they are intended for and not compare them to top of the line suits. They are marketed as a low cost, frills free suit for the occasional paddler. Not for the full on whitewate...

Re: Whitesell Piranha

I am sure Clipper still has the mold. Mine is 20 years old and the day it was going to be on the water for the first time I endered my truck on top of it over a 100ft embankment. Paddled it the next day

Re: Whitesell Piranha

I think the Clipper Merganser is much better Tandem than a Tandem Whitesell.

Also try adding some width to your saddle sometimes that makes a big difference

Re: River Elf Storm Chaser C-1

Now that this boat has been out for some time wondering how people are liking it? Who has one and where are you paddling it.

I will be in North Carolina week of Oct 22 wondering if anyone has one in the area I could try out when I am down there.
