then I'll experiment in saddle height - it's just that another C-Boater adviced me for a high seat (instable, but good boat control), and a kayaker (no C-Boater, but German Master in freestyle kayak, at least  ) told me to make it lower - now I'm a bit confused I did , and it doesn't feel much ...

hi the other meeting is a two weeks canoe holiday in Spain, a friend of mine is planning from 9th until 24th may! Some others consider to come along - since they're all C-Boaters and armada "veterans", and many wanted to come to both meetings as I said, we had tried to find dates that take not place...

European C-Boat Armada 2009 - Choose location

Dear friends for the Armada to come next year, we (the organisation team) have three locations, and to choose one, and can't decide what to take this time: -Saalach, camp in Lofer (Austria, about 200 km from Munic) -Salza area (camp maybe in WildalpenAustria, about 400 - 500 km (not sure about that)...

I am very sorry for the people died and their family and friends suffering now. We should learn from them and always wear pfd's when paddling - at least on whitewater ! And except a few occasions paddling in a bikini on flatwater at over 25 Degrees, I even do when touring And avoid artificial dams -...

hm, I've got a marathon racing paddle by wenonah - sorry I cannot tell model name or blade with, but at least at the time I bought it, it was the only racing paddle model they had in store. I use it for everything from short sprints up to 15 h paddling a day and feel very comfortable with it. Though...

freestyle paddle size ?

what lenght do I need for freestyle paddling (I'm 1,65 m , that's hardly more than 5 ft )?

and what blade size (I'm quite weak, so technique - orientated) ? Some swear on big blades to get a lot of power on the blade, others prefer small ones for quick action......I'm confused!

What sort of paddling? in classic touring im a righty, but have both sides strong - and in my sit and switch boat it doesn't matter anyway in whitewater i'm a lefty - being nearly unable to paddle on the right (when C1, in C2 it's ok), but for me it's more worth the time to improve my skills on the ...

Are these kinds of PE-suitable glues available in Europe/Germany, too?

I'm working with different ones, but didn't found an adhesive working really well!

Thanks!

I'm not a true open boater (don't own one), but I have paddled several OC1's. The Spark was the most amazing of all! This is the one I would buy if I had the money ;), it might be fragile, but the performance in speed and reaction is outstanding! Almost as responsive as a C1, in my eyes. I didn't ha...
