Dude
Dude,
A Cascade would be great for an old, new, and large, creeker. Enjoy. There is also a guy on the board trading an Atom for a 11' canoe, what could an extra foot hurt?

Nope
That is not a full cut Acrobat, next generation Hearn/Lugbill design though. But definately not Acrobat. I would bet it is an Ultramax or an Ultraglide. Email pics to Davey Hearn at his biz Maximum Whitwater Performance, He could tell as he was the designer and would recognise the wings.

Alden
Alden,
Hopefully you get a chance in the Woodie one day. I think Mike will bring it to the Armada anytime he comes.

Dirk was cool
Dirk was cool. He was the first guy I ever saw with one of those hollowed out foam wafers. It was black 3" minicell with small grooves for calves and some thigh straps. It was about 3.5 feet long and blunt, but it was a C-1 by gawd.

Yepper
Was able to see the pics this time. Starting in pic three it is obvious you were not paddling aggresively. Paddle shaft is at a 45% angle and your weight is back. You were making eddy turns low. Paddling creeks in this unaggresive manner will get you exactly what you got. We learn early in our creek...

Yepper Sound Advice
Buy a book, rent it from the library, look it up on line. You'll need tools, time, materials, and knowledge.

Wow
There's gold in them thar rivers. Hey man turn that Occoee right side out not inside out like you have right now. The boat will turn a lot quicker this way and make a more effective creeker. The big water is a breeze, just get in the flow and float the rapids. Effectively you realy only have to stro...
