thanks EZ, i was going with some teflon lube on the valve, but 303 sounds like a nice way to start.
and i'm the guy you see pulled over letting air out of the airbags or blowing air into the airbags.....just a labor of love and necessity.

another airbag repair question

the inflate valve is tearing loose from the inside of the bag around the flange in one place (maybe from flopping in the wind). no damage to the bag (i think) just the connection. ps a dump valve is near and it's a bell airbag. thanks for any info

if your boat can front surf, it can back surf. it all has to do with angle control.

know this may sound crazy, but i wonder if tooth paste (as a mild abrasive) on a grout sponge might scour away some of that haze. or polishing compound. but i do like the oil idea to preserve and protect.
ps welcome to CBoats!!!

naw, hula hoop is much cooler.
but as a sidenote, the stohiquist neck gasket is neoprene and about 2" long. but it's thick, double layer thick. no trim-able.

i agree with what gumpy said about a main campground to be based out of. maybe we can figure out a paddle plan w/o having to drive half hour the wrong way just to discuss where to go. mr. deadlegs is in spain, and he left it up to me to figure out where we will camp (starting first w/e). hope we can...
