Nice site! Is that a year-round training area?

Does the area get washed out when you have high water in the Spring?

Nice vid, Motoari! Personally, I would have liked to have seen more bow-cam footage. Add more of that and you can dump the inert/filler footage of the kyackers. Which number were you?

Yes,
we paddle all seasons at that place,
though the winter is very cold.

In this year, the water level is very low.
Usually, about 2 feet higher than that video's condition.
The high water season is autumn.
Many Typhoon come to Japan and it brings inundation. :o
Of course, the area washed out.

Of course I ignore K1M category in the race.
But it is difficult to decide the good object for the video.
If you were there, which scene do you take the video ?

(1) A friend of mine swimming in the race course with his canoe.
(2) A cute athlete girl paddling on her kayak in the course.

I prefer to choose (2).

I hadn't participated in this race because I missed booking.
So I took video on the bank.

The Tone River(did I spell it right?)is a great place to paddle. Beautiful scenery and things you won't see anywhere else. Now, let's see if we can get a group together to participate in the first international canoe slalom race to be held in Japan.

Yes,
The Tone river sounds nice place, though I haven't paddled yet.

Now, who can argue that!? :D I liked your location at the top of the swim (umm, race) course. Add to that the mix of bow-cam footage. I really liked the view the bow-cam gave of the race course.

Thanks for sharing!

Pardon me Motoari-san, I meant to say the Tama-gawa. That's the river in the Mitake valley that I've padled, right?
Phil that's MillBROOK not Millcreek. As far as supplying boats, you can always borrow mine.
Whatever happened to Millcreek Boats anyway?
