Looks like I missed everyone on Sunday, I met PAC in entrance (good to meet you) but could not find anyone else. I got there around 11, asked several C-Boaters I saw, but no C-Boats crew. I paddled with some open boaters from the Baltimore area, had a sweet day. Hope I can catch up with some folks from Cboats next time.
So does TOG launch or meet in the parking lot at 11am?

only those TOG members who show up on time put on in the 11-12 hour. I put on about 11:30 waiting, and then played at donut til 12,
Those who live the furthest away get there in a timely manner, those that are closest are always late........go figure
It's all good, though....As long as there's water!!

Yeah, sorry we missed each other. I got there at 11 (I could only get a launch pass for noon, which I got on Saturday) and walked around the parking lot asking folks, then gave up and just set shuttle with the guys I met during my impromptu TOG lot Survey.
PAC told me your were downstream in a Spanish Fly, I went looking but never found you, hopefully next time the stars will align!
FYI, I paddle a yellow modified Dagger Ocoee.

Fritz nice to meet ya and good to see you hooked up with a group. Ya looked good in the "new to you" boat too!
Al no way you played that long - we got there at 11:30 (was running late - had to pick up my shredder guide stick that was reworked). Rangers said you put in about 10 minutes ahead of us. We stayed at dougnut until after Kabuki_blaze paddled through - Jacob was hav'n a grand time. We even stopped for a magic hat #9 and wings!
Oh and the cell phone coverage isn't bad there either!

Thanks PAC, good meeting you too. Hopefully next time we can all meet up. I may go run the LY on Wednesday, I am feeling a little sick and may need to call off work
I think I have found my Open Boat for the foreseeable future, I really dig the Ocoee (thanks for asking Devin). I think this type of boat was meant for my paddling style, it is stable enough, but yet responsive enough to get me where I need to be. I can see why people are dedicated to this design, I may end up being one of those people. I even nailed the boof at bottle of wine and got my roll down in that boat. I am feeling real comfortable in it and I hope to get myself on the UY this fall, I have kayaked it many times but never OCed it
The boat being pinched and cut down makes it even more stable and it ferries much better than the stock Ocoee. However, it is wet, but I got my electric bilge pump installed (however I wish I could get that last half inch of water out) and I just need to get better at running dry lines. I got a sweet deal on the boat, and Jeff threw in a WaveSport Z hull, so I will have that to play with.
The boat is a little soft and does flex a little more than I would like, anyone know how to fix that?
