Before creek season got started, I was messing around with a Dagger Aftershock. It's a handful.

I sound like a broken record on this forum, but once I got my Esquif Prelude, it's been hard to go back to any other boat. It's got the PE, the acceleration, the right amount of chine, the spin, the surfability, and the great looks of a traditional canoe. Its performance certainly puts a smile on my face whether I'm picking my way down something technical, boofing a ledge, running some big water, sliding into a surf wave, or simply weaving my way from one small eddy to another. Nevertheless, all the comments on the Ion have me curious about how much fun it could be. Would love to try one sometime.

I could answer by giving the model of a boat, but anyone that's ever paddled with me knows that If my a$$ is in the saddle (or seat) I'm having fun! 8)

Based on the trend of the early replies, I thought the number of people who were going to say 'Ion' was going to be more than the number of Ions I've actually sold.

I love the shredder too- actually Hyside Paddlecat. Paddles like being on a tandem side by side Outrage. Fun creeking and big water.
