Euro C-boat Armada 2011? 2-5 June 2011 - Wildalpen, Austria

Post by savagekevin »

Anyone organizing another European Armada?

BTW
22 April is the second Open Canoe Festival on the Drome down in France, which was great fun last year.

Hi Kevin,
Yeah for sure we are organising another euroarmada,

date 2-5 June 2011

location Wildalpen, Austria

camping
NNNaturfreunden

The plan so far, turn up, go boating, have a lot of fun. There will be test boats form Esquif to try, paddles from Kober and a home cooked group dinner on Friday or Saturday night.

Travel safe and see you there

I'm looking forward to it!
I'm coaching two canoe courses in Europe and competing at the Worlds in Plattling, but I am really looking forward to cruising over with James Weir to join the fun at my first European Armada!

Thanks for the info. James.

Disappointingly, and unbelievably, again, the dates clash with work and I'll miss it a third time.

:(

Nonetheless, happy with my new L'Edge, which seems to roll nicely in the pool. Looking forward to trying it on a river, once ski season is over.

Seven weeks to go to the 6th Euro CBoat Armada, I'm looking forward to paddling with all of you again.

Is anyone designing a poster again like we had last year? That would be grand.

It should be ready at Easter time the latest so we could send one to Paul Villecourt who could hang it at the Open Canoe Festival Drôme.
"A canoe trip?" he said. "There ain't nothing to go down there for."
"Because it's there," Lewis said.

Thanks, Fez, I should look more often into the "other" forum...

Hi Taniwha,

Good plan, promoting the armada a bit at the OCF.

Will you be there? I'll stop there on my way home back to Belgium.

Thanks, Paul.

@Jakke: No, I'm not at the Open Canoe Festival Drôme this year. CU in Wildalpen...

I sent the poster to Paul Villecourt. And I wrote a short news about the Euro Armada for the next edition of KANU Magazin...
