Post by milkman »

I just posted on YouTube the third installment in my series "You're going to run that in a canoe?" Lots of carnage and a few sweet runs. It's at: http://youtu.be/I1ReP-v1jbo

Hey, that was a carefully thought out, deliberate, premeditated demonstration of the wrong line. It all went according to plan :D

ps. You can watch a hero in a longboat do it right:

After you ace the established line, what's left? Trying something new. And when that doesn't work, plan b, c, and d.

I had a number of thoughts run through my head watching that - one of them was "gee, the L'Edge sure is forgiving" :-)

If I had a L'edge, I'd do mods like Craig has done. No decks. Wood gunnels. Pull it in. But I already have a boat that meets my specs stock from the manufacturer. It's PE. It's orange. And it's from the same company that makes the L'edge.

Tommy, I like your idea and should start keeping a folder on my hard drive with the best runs just like I do the carnage. Both are fun to watch.
