Fun video link!

This is a group of Scouts in CA that I help out on their annual whitewater trip. They make the video for themselves, so the actual whitewater footage mostly starts around 3:30 or so in, but its a fun video that showcases how you can still run class II-III water in really old-school designs. This shows their progression from mostly 0 experience on day one, to running some II+ and mild III's by day 4 and 5. I keep doing this for 1 to 2 weeks a summer as the Scouts just don't have anywhere else they can go to do this sort of thing, we 'guides' all have full-time careers so trying to arrange all the vacations to meet up is a challenge, but worth it.
All footage shot on the Klamath River, August 4-8, 2019.
Anyone not wearing a helmet is a part-time canoe guide, and thus have no brains to safeguard.

Love it - thanks for sharing.

That is definitely more advanced than we have worked up to with our troop so far.
