found a can of great stuff spray foam at the jobsite with a bit still left. my canoe leaks so badly it was time to plug them. yup i peeled back the outer layer and let it rip. we will see in the morning if she floatswithout the pumps going. anyone ever use spray foam on a boat?

Do not put it in the float tanks of an aluminum canoe! I saw the results. Great stuff will warp the aluminum and pop the rivets.

I'm pretty sure that's what Jez used in his playboat during the World Cup a while back. It ended up absorbing water and he had to chisel it out.
