Custom c1 skirts?

Post by the great gonzo »

Question for everyone, who do you turn to these days to get a quality custom C1 skirt with an offset tunnel made?
Mountain Surf is sadly sill not really in production yet with John still recovering from cancer.
Skirtwerks seems to be out of business, as I don't seem to get any responses.
So who makes similar style and quality skirts and does custom offset tunnels?
I personally prefer randed skirts over bungees, they seem to be more 'buseater proof'...

TGG!

Skirtworks is MIA due to illness as well.

Did you try IR? Not sure if its their thing but they have been helpful in the past as to tweaking some gear. http://www.immersionresearch.com/store/ ... ay-skirts/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

+1 to the snapdragon. I just got one custom for my dagger cascade and it fits like a glove, also very timely delivery! you can't order direct from snapdragon but just call any paddling shop that you live near that sells snapdragon products and they can take care of it for you.

speaking of custom skirts, has anyone had experience fitting a skirt on a hydra centaur? Will the level six c1 slalom fit?

I've been out of the C1 scene for a while (but now foresee dabbling in it again).
I never had any issue using quality kayak skirts on conversions, but I did have two done up by Snapdragon and they were top rate.
