Source for skirts for Cascade

Post by Peter »

Recently came into a cascade, and my skirt is no longer serviceable for it. Who makes a skirt for a cascade anymore? Alternatively, anyone have one laying around? Probably need an xl tunnel, might could get by with a large. I'm located in Chattanooga, TN.

Thanks,
Peter

I don't know for sure, but SnapDragon prob'ly has the specs on file, and would likely build one as a special order.

I might mention that I have one for sale -- $100 OBO! Includes the Cascade (which sadly has some damage, which looks weldable).

Located in British Columbia.

Try IR (PA) and mountain surf (CAN) too. I think they both have made them in the past but not 100% on that. Skirtworks did for sure but they are no longer in business. :-(

Does anyone know if this level six will fit? It's a killer sale if it does

I find it amusing that they list the Big Dog Force * OC-1 * on their spray skirt fit list...

FWIW- I had both Snap Dragon, and Mountain Surf skirts for Cascades when I was into those boats. The mountain surf seemed more durable. Like others said, these companies probably know how to make them, and will custom order for you.

I had a custom SnapDragon skirt made for my C1. They can make anything, as long as they have a cockpit template. (I sent them my own template.)

Of course, if you're ambitious, you can also make your own skirt.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the fit list doesn't include the "Race Lite" skirt model. So it might be worth asking them for the skirt dimensions.

it doesn't but the rep on the phone told me that he thought it "might" work. i'm skeptical, probly not going to buy it but for that price it sure would be nice so I figured I'd at least ask around and see if anyone else had used this specific skirt on a cascade.

I have skirt that was made for a Cascade. I think it's XL tunnel. Cannot recall what manufacturer. I would consider selling it for $50 plus whatever postage to get it to the destination. Send me a PM if you're interested.

Seals Skirts have worked for me...the Surf model was the one that I used for the Atom & the Cascade.
