How can I tell if the Hahn I picked up is cut down, or full cut. The one I picked up seams a Li'll tight, or maybe I put on a little, since paddling one lady.

I believe that the height from the floor to the deck near the saddle should be 13 inches.

Hmm just under 11 to bottom side of deck,
We're gonna need a bigger boat.

From what I have seen, there are any number of boat models people call "Hahns." There was an 80cm Hahn, 70cm high-end Hahn, low-end Hahn, Sweet-Hahn, Morrison-Hahn, and others.

The ones I have measured tended to be about 12" deep.

But, comfort in a Hahn has as much to do with hull shape and cockpit size as it has depth. The roundish hull x-section makes it impossible to get your knees both wide and low in the boat. The small cockpit was simply awful for larger people who needed their seats up around 8".

Anyway, I wonder if your 11" boat will be as comfortable as any Hahn can be, if you cut it a modern-size cockpit.
