Memories....Acrobat

Post by overthehill »

Anyone paddle an old Acrobat? I had one for a few years. I bought it from Roger Scot on the Ocoee back in 1990. Really fun little boat. I sold it on the Gauley a few years back. Don't see many around anymore.

The acrobat is a great boat. I've paddled mine down the Hudson Gorge and a bunch of other (easier) runs. Too high volume for my modest sized to mystery, so I've moved on to other boats. I still have my Acrobats, and do hop in my master cut once in a while for old times sake. My knees aren't what they once were though!

My Master Cut Acro only makes it to pool sessions any more. Still fun to get into - at least for 15 minutes.
