As we announced it during ALF we didn't sticky it so as not to compete with any ALF posts (not that we had many this year).

Should be a fun time on the Stoney this year!!

I want to try the Ameba, Sith and any other glass C1's that are of the more recent evolution at the Stoney Creek Rendevous. I paddled with Craig on his maiden voyage in a Blink. Nice looking boat. He has a bulkhead and I don't fit it so no opportunity to try it.
Other boats I want to try are:
glass Atom
Storm Chaser
Magnet
low volume Hornet

Well there is my wish list.

Jim,

You (and anyone else) are welcome to drop by some time here in Queensbury (and check out the Storm Chaser, Magnet, Sith, Amoeba, etc...). Unfortunately I can't make the armada this year (commitment I can't get out of). I was really hoping to make it as my daughter was going to join me this year. Oh well. Next year!

There may be an august get together around here this year... I need to make a couple of calls about that today, actually...
Keep the C!

I will almost definitely be in attendance, and will have some boats with me;
Sith (probably)
C2 (maybe)
new prototype (probably not - too cold to even think about geting resin out yet)

See you all there.

Does anyone know if there is camping at the park Thursday night?

Is there a certain area that the cboaters gravitate to within the camping area or are we located wherever the next site is available?

I don't believe that the Greenhouse Park is available for camping Thursday night, however there is good free (bootleg) camping on the river nearby. I have camped there many times, as have others, and have never had any problems. If anyone is coming in Thursday night and wants to know where to camp you can PM me and I'll get you GPS coordinates and directions.

As for camping at the fest, the past two years the FullGnarlz gang, which has comprised the majority of the single blade types, has camped to near the highway to the left of the entrance into Greenhouse Park SEE IMAGE BELOW. With the addition of the extra c-boaters I imagine we will spread out a bit.

Thanks Aaron. I may stay in McHenry MD then for Thursday night.
So a few questions for the folks coming up from the south.

Anyone going to head to Fascination Alley on the Narrows Friday?
Anyone bringing a Storm Chaser C1?
