c1 footwear?

Post by lung »

What's your favorite shoes to wear in a c1 for creeking? I need to get a new pair. Figured I might get a few ideas on here. I have a pair of nrs sasquatchs that I like. Easily bend flat, but still some padding on the sole. Might just get another pair. Just need them to be bigger to fit more sox.

I've been liking the astral brewer in the creeker, seems good so far. I have to wear a more bootie style in the Atom to be able to get my feet out.
Its not about the approach. Its about control in the hole.

I like the Akona 3.5mm low-cut booties. They are the most flexible booties with a ribbed sole. Not the best for rock-walking, but much easier when exiting/entering the boat. I keep the tops of my feet flat against the hull so, if you use toe-blocks, they might not work as well.

Yeah, they lie pretty flat. I don't have pegs or anything.

You need some thing without much heel & supple like a sock in order to wet exit cleanly. I use NRS Desperados. The heel can catch on the way out with a boot like shoe.
