Option rollability, 2013 vs. original model

Post by boatbuster »

Hi

I posted this question below but did not get a response...Any thoughts from someone who has paddled both boats appreciated:

Can you comment on how the 2013 rolls compared to the original? There has been some discussion on here about whether higher ends help or harm ease of rolling. My guess is the extra 1.5 inches of bow and stern height would make little difference either way, but I have not tried to roll the new one.

Thanks!

I've rolled both but not in close time proximity to compare.

My experience just last night with the 2013 Option was that it rolls very nicely, very snappy, no problem at all.

Just being willing to try is half the battle.

Just FYI, you can message Jeremy on Facebook, or any of his team members. I've found them to be pretty open and honest about the capabilities of the boat.
