Pyranha H3:245 seat height?

I know there are allot of threads that mention seat height, but from what I gather each c1 is unique in what you can get away with. This is my first c1 and first season for that matter, so I don't have allot to compare this to. Right now the seat is just shy of 5 inches and although bearable for a short day trip it's not exactly something I want to subject myself to when I have choices. Where should I start 7",8",9"? I have a 2 inch piece of foam laying around, but that only brings me up to about 6 3/4. More foam is only a 10 min drive away.
