Glad you're back, Cboats. Can you help me name all new OC1s?

Glad you're back, Cboats. Can you help me name all new OC1s?

Post by boatbuster »

This is for an article I am working on. Looking at all the new OC1 designs that have come out in the past couple of years or are now coming out:

L'Edge
Blackfly
Option
Ion
Octane
Mohawk Phiend
Big Dog Force OC1

Am I leaving any out?

Thanks for your reply. I should have specified plastic. Millbrook of course has been making new designs all along. Are these plastic or composite?

They are both composite boats.

At this point most of the new designs are coming out in plastic.

As a note, both of the boats that I mentioned are what I would consider modern designs and even though they are composite construction they reflect the trend that we are seeing in the plastic boats, especially the StinkEye.

well if you don't limit it to plastic add;

Big Dog Kaos OC1 playboat, its kevlar/composite but could be made in plastic in the future

Octane 91
and
Octane 92

Any Jackson boat can now be ordered with factory C-1 outfitting (is this true?)

And theoretically, Robson has released the Homes in plastic (in Europe.) Same screamin' design but an inch or two smaller.

Prelude and Span. Fly are older designs but still on the market in plastic (are there a few others?)
