MR Rampage

Post by griffen_williams »

I have an opportunity to pick up a Rampage pretty cheap, but ive never seen one or heard of anyone that paddles one. Any thoughts?

For the Record. Paddle Class I - IV in an oc(prelude), 185 lbs, 5'10'

Just looking for something to cruise around in and teach beginners in that are in Deminsions etc.

Its longer and less rockered than an outrage. It should work well for your intended purpose.

Like paddling a referigerator box.
I'm told that they'll turn if you put them on thier sides.
Didn't work for me but I didn't waste too much time trying.
Lots of better boats out there.

tommy great description of the Rampage!!! refrigerator box, lol!
That said it be ok for beginners, or teachin i think. I had a rampage for a few months in '94 or so, and used it on Indian Cr, Meadow run, and the Yough of course, before tradin it to get my HD back.

I just don't dig the straight side, volume ends, log shape that it and the OutrageX run.
