Paddling spots near Fort Payne/Mentone Alabama?

Post by Collard Green »

Hey everybody...I was supposed to guide for NOC on the Nanty for my 2nd summer but my wife is pregnant and I alas...cannot go...

However, I bought a Dagger Rival and started to get pretty confident on the Nanty last summer...

We are going to visit some family for a week or so in northeastern Alabama.

Can anybody reccommend some good spots of for Class III and below in that area?

Nothing running in Bama now except dam controlled runs down near Montgomery, like the Coosa and Tallapoosa, Hit me up for info on those,

Woud you be willing to drive up the Nannie or Ocoee some days next week? I might be up for that,

    I'm in the Birmngham area.
