Float bags....

Post by PAC »

Looking for options for float bags for OC2s. Boats that are being outfitted will be used of teaching BSA white water canoeing.
I just ordered one center bag from Serria Trading post for the first, and largest boat for when it is ready (should be shortly).
Now I'm looking for end bags (smaller ones). Use of exercise balls has been kicked around.
Any hints as to getting end floation on the cheap?
Anyone have some older bags they are willing to get rid of?
Singles (any size) and ugly one's that need patching are not a problem.
Oh and this is just the start for that one boat - I might have 3 more OC2s to outfit. :o
Thanks in advance. Paul C.

Having just finished outfitting 8 boats for Scouts in this area, it sounds like you might be needing 36" end bags. The only folks that I could find making that size is Gaia www.gaiasports.com Talk to Sam Brocato and tell him what you need. Good luck
