Does one pull release all four straps?

The release just releases the thigh straps. The knee straps sit far enough forward that I can get out of them with them tightened. They basically function the same as a foam bulkhead, but are adjustable for wearing more clothing, riverrunning vs. Playing, etc.

I've been thinking about messin with snowboard straps,just hadn't come up with a good saftey release yet.
