When I paddle mine, people read it as WOOZ.

Not what you Want!!

Are you sure that this is what you want? The Zoom is a pretty wacky OC1.

What else have you paddled with this much...Charisma?

Have you ever paddled a C1?

Ever paddled a kayak hull conversion?

I would not consider paddling this boat until you can comfortably paddle a Pyranha Acrobat 270 down class IV.

It is THAT wacky a boat. A mere few minutes test-driving it on your local river will not allow it to show its true colors. Trust me on this!

Consider getting something more mid-level, like a Mohawk Scamp or a Perception HD1.

Patti

I jumped into a buddy's Zoom (I paddle a Phantom) and loved it. It is easy to throw around, and yes, very twitchy, but it depends on what you are comparing it to.

My $.01 worth :D

It's called the WOOZ for a reason.
Even most of the Esquif team paddlers only paddle it on easier stuff, when the going get's tough, they are all in Taureaus, Preludes, Spanish Flies and such.
That said, If you are a lightweight, it might work, but there are better boats on the market IMHO.

TGG!

I've got one you can try if you're ever in the SE...
Its not about the approach. Its about control in the hole.
