they are ridiculously hard to come by, I am actually looking for one too.

If someone where to make the Ace helmet again.... I got one and keep it under armed guard....

even, though, they havent been CE approved since like 1990, they are wicked light. and how come all the National level athletes, seem to find them so easily...

I have two old translucent red Aces that my wife and I used to wear racing more than 20 years ago, but frankly you're better off buying a Wild Water helmet from Davey Hearn ( http://www.daveyhearn.com/MWP%20Gear/He ... 0mitts.htm ). It's almost as light and offers a lot better protection.

The chin straps on those old Aces are shot, but if you're determined to wear an Ace and want to try installing a new chin strap, make me an offer that at least covers the shipping and they're yours.
