Hey Alden
Patrick Rogers ( http://www.kayakingphotos.com/) has some pics from the Indy that look like you.
Me, I got all cranked up on the New Boston III. Then I see what you guys ran. (you too NZMatt on the Moose).
Wow!

I'm 190 lbs. and I like the smaller Outrage because it's quick and nimble so I think you will like the Outrage X. The Esquif Nitro and Detonator seem slow and dry but I havn't paddled them enough to give a fair evaluation. A couple of freinds of mine who are big guys swear by the Dagger Caption (14'...

and the bad guys paddled black kayaks!
flipping the boobtube whilst getting my supper yesterday when I see a guy in an old C1 (maybe a Hann?) running some pretty gnarly water. Cool! Cuts to a scene with badguys talking about "stoppng him at the bridge" cuts to the bridge where the sherriff is hanging nets across the river! Here comes our...

I'll take a crack
A lot of OC 1 paddlers that I know, including many who are better paddlers than I'll ever be, have no interest in being upside down in their boats. They develop a lot of skill in keeping thier boats dry and upright but prefer to swim rather than roll. I've combat rolled my Outrage a few times but I ...

I kinda want to pole with the ACA on Saturday and run the III on Sunday but my kids having a birthday and I might not get there at all :( Second weekend I'm running a Bos...

Yeah Alden I wuz there. First time for me. Ran the upper in the Outrage, then the lower in the Foreplay. Saw Jim standing in line. Saw some wild man in a yellow Riot cartwheeling down the river. Filled me with envy. I got cartwheel envy! Think I'd like to bring the Slasher up there in the spring. Wh...

C1 Play boating vids / instruction
I stuffed my 190 lbs into the Foreplay I got from Mr Bird and found out that it will do all sorts of cool stuff, sometimes even intentionaly. It rolls nicely too  So now I'd like to learn a few moves. Can anyone recomend any good videos? Websites? Instruction? (I'm near Boston) I've got "We Des...

Peelouts
Well I haven't had the Foreplay out yet. Hopefully Saturday. The Dryway in a rred rrubber rraft was a rriot. Boy is rubber forgiving  I watched a couple of open boaters run dragons tooth. I might be able to take the Outrage down that OK. I've got to go back and look at Labrynth some more. That...

Bumpy yeah!
When the wave breaks I end up side surfing and bumpy is a real good word for it. Even with a pretty good brace out I seem to go over fairly often though it's fairly effortless to come back up and even continue the surf. When you say you "just try to clean it" are you going over and behind the wave? ...

Offside Bracing?
OK so I take the Slasher to the beach to get a piece of Fabian, and once I figure out a few things I get some nice rides. But I always have to cut left because I need the brace (not to mention the roll) when the wave breaks on me. So I end up way down the beach and I have to paddle backwards to get ...

Is it the boat or the paddler?
So I got comfortable enough in the Slasher to look for a new challange. I'm all inspired by the 'We Designed 'Em" video. I'll only ever be that good in my dreams but that's the direction I'm headed. I got a Whipit last fall and finaly got the outfitting comfortable. Took it down to Tarrifville today...
