project slalom boats
I have a Zealot and a Maverick that need a good home with a caring, and attentive, cboater that wants a project boat (or two). Zealot has leaky seams but the hull is sound (from an impromptu surf 'n swim in Big Nasty at 5.0 feet). Saddle included. Anchors for thigh straps. *Free* Maverick is "THE" f...

Re: Villain S - C-1 version - For Sale
Do you have any images you could post here of the boat? The "how to" instructions are found on the forum page if you are not sure how to do it.

Re: C-boating Video's -need help
Are you looking for instructional videos for open canoes and/or whitewater action video? There are quite a lot out there of both. Personally, and I really dislike admitting this publically  , Tommy's fullgnarlz videos are entertaining, maybe a little strong with language and music?, and well c...

Also, what was said about smooth tubes helps. Those flexible corrugated plastic tubes give a lot of flow resistance.

Re: Best foot forward?
The knee on the same side as the power side (shaft arm) would be the one to have further back. That increases the eccentric loading of the torso and hip muscles for the pull stroke. So, if you paddle left, have the left peg offset back and vice versa if you paddle right. The Ocoee is a boat that ben...

Is that the fishing kyak? If so, then let's deal craft beer for the Groove. You want 2 cases or 3?

Re: Boats for sale Charlotte NC
Hi, Bill. If you check your ride board post, you will notice I already inquired about the Groove: https://cboats.net/cforum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7968713 Check that out and let me know. We can even finagle craft beers in addition to my gas bill for transportation. We're southerners. We can deal. 8)

Re: total shoulder replacement
Hi, Tom. I work with a client who had a total shoulder replacement, probably 6 years ago. Tennis is off the "bucket list", but range-of-motion is really good and pain is gone! Really strong with little limitations on the "do not" list. You should be able to continue boating regularly after thorough ...

Re: Seat Height and Stability
Adding to what EZ said about points of contact, I have felt the most secure in a c-1 with a kneeling thwart at a height of 6 1/2 inches and my knees are pretty close together too.

Re: Solo boat suggestion?
Depending on how much you want to spend, you may want to consider a River Elf boat called the Storm Chaser: Storm Chaser There should be plenty large volume plastic boats like a large Burn you could convert. Also, use the site search function to find what boaters on this site have been using for ove...
